Financial Investment: Killik & Co – Finding Long-term Financial Wellbeing

Killik & Co has been advising clients how to save, plan and invest for nearly 30 years

Unlike most other firms operating in the financial sector, Killik & Co believes in maintaining a visible local presence. ‘Having a Chiswick branch on the High Road is integral to the business,’ confirms Tom Fagg, the Associate Investment Director. ‘We take great pride in our friendly service, so it makes perfect sense to be readily accessible to clients.’

Paul Killik opened his first office in 1989 in West London. His ethos was simple: to make the benefits of investing available to all and to deliver the highest standard of professional, impartial wealth management advice. Today, those core values remain exactly the same.

‘Our award-winning advisory and discretionary investment specialists work alongside experienced wealth planners to offer clients individually tailored services,’ explains Tom. ‘These include inheritance tax planning, will writing, stockbroking and setting up trusts and lasting powers of attorney. Whatever we do, our approach is based on a clear understanding of each client’s aspirations and circumstances. Also, being independently owned, we are always able to be flexible and unbiased in the strategies and solutions that we suggest.’

Killik & Co is proud to have launched a new save and invest app called Silo through which users can begin their investment journey. Silo offers three different ways to access up to 25 funds all curated by the in-house Head of Fund Research, Mick Gilligan, and it is now available in the App Store and Google Play.

Regardless, relationshipbuilding is still at the heart of the Killik & Co philosophy. ‘Clients have a consistent point of contact through their Investment Manager or Wealth Planner and that close connection often extends across generations of the same family,’ says Tom. ‘So, for example, we can set up junior ISAs for children while advising their parents on wealth planning and assisting their grandparents with inheritance tax issues.

‘We are delighted to offer reviews of current investments without obligation. Whether you wish to save regularly for your family, prepare for retirement or protect your estate, our expert team will be able to help you achieve financial peace of mind.’

About Editor

Online editor at Keep Things Local

The company publishes four flagship magazines (Chelsea Locals, Chiswick Locals, Richmond Locals and Hammersmith Locals) with more launches planned in London and across the UK. The prime focus of each of these quarterly magazines is to showcase and support the independent traders and small businesses who do so much to give these areas their individual retail character and community spirit. This is achieved through dedicated advertorials which are written, designed and photographed by an experienced team lead by Neil McKelvie.

In every issue, these advertorials are complemented by feature articles which turn the spotlight on different aspects of neighbourhood life and interviews with notable local figures. In addition to appearing in the magazines, every advertorial is also published in the Keep Things Local newsletters, on the website and on social media. Get in touch to be featured in our Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring issues.
