The Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Devonshire Day Nursery in Chiswick offers an inspiring

“Our aim is to nurture a lifelong love of learning from the very beginning,” explains Nursery Manager, Emmy Avery. “We encourage our pre-schoolers to immerse themselves in

Beyond the classroom, children take part in eco-friendly activities all year round, from
embarking on bug hunts and nature walks, to creating habitats for wildlife and growing
seasonal vegetables.

These sustainability efforts not only integrate science, maths and social skills into everyday learning, but have earned the nursery a prestigious Green Flag with Distinction, the highest accolade in the international Eco-Schools scheme.
Meanwhile, older children are supported through a comprehensive school readiness
programme that builds confidence in key areas such as phonics, self-care and early writing, while nurturing practical skills like independence in dressing and using cutlery, ensuring they feel capable and ready for the journey ahead.
