‘I became interested in Ozone Therapy when my son, who is a keen weightlifter, developed back problems,’ recalls Dr Hala Mahfoud. ‘He had an ozone injection and the result was amazing, and that inspired me to invest in the technology.
‘Ozone gas reaches the cellular level, providing direct, targeted pain relief in any area of the body, and it can also be administered using a safe process called minor autohemotherapy. We take some blood, ozonate the sample and inject it back, so boosting circulation and activating the immune system to fight infections, viruses and fatigue.’
A former NHS Consultant, Dr Hala opened her familyrun clinic in 2017 with the aim of bridging the gap between aesthetics, beauty and medicine. ‘Inevitably, since the pandemic, patients are more aware of the need to enhance their immunity,’ she adds. ‘So, as well as Ozone Therapy, we recommend our Vitamin IV infusions, which are composed of individually tailored cocktails of minerals, anti-oxidants and nutrients.’
Dr Hala has always pioneered the use of exciting new therapies. For example, she offers PRP (Platelet-rich Plasma) treatments that stimulate collagen to produce firmer skin and promote hair growth, and the clinic is one of very few with a Femi-Lift laser, which provides nonsurgical relief from stress urinary incontinence, and two Harmony lasers: the XL Pro is ideal for mole and tattoo removal and the Soprano ICE Platinum has revolutionised hair removal.
Since opening, Dr Hala has also launched her own popular skincare collection, which is available online and at the clinic. ‘We’re proud of achieving the best outcome for every patient and, with the scope of our facilities, we can always devise a bespoke approach that fits any individual needs.’
