Gas boilers are being phased out, so is it time to switch to a low carbon, energy-efficient air source heat pump?
The pros and cons of investing in renewable home heating (and cooling) – specifically, using an air source pump – always prompt a keen debate. On one hand, the initial spend is higher; on the other, a government grant covers around 50% of costs and energy bills and carbon emissions will be lower.
As always, it pays to ask an expert. Having recently completed a training programme on the subject organised by leading manufacturer Worcester Bosch, John and Ricky of West London-based plumbing and heating company Reliant LDN definitely qualify on that count.
