Petite Performers provides a safe, supportive space in which pre-schoolers can take ballet, tap, hip hop and drama classes – and have fun and learn skills within a good teaching structure. ‘It’s wonderful to see the children blossoming in confidence, making friends and flourishing creatively and physically,’ says Emily Cardno, the owner of the Chiswick franchise.
Classes were launched last year at the Christian Centre and Mission Hall in W4 and they have proved so popular that Emily has now started a Sunday programme at the Chiswick Catholic Centre. The timetable includes You & Me Ballet for children who are walking to aged 3 to dance with a Grown-up, Ballet (3-4 years), Didi Drama & Singing (3-4 years) and a combined Ballet & Musical Theatre class for children in Reception and Year 1 at school.
Parents can sign up for a £5 trial and there’s a special 15% discount offer on classes (use the code Locals15). ‘We never forget that the children are so little,’ says Emily. ‘It’s lovely when they leave with big smiles on their faces and a real sense of achievement.’
