‘Just recently, more patients have been telling us that their teeth are feeling sensitive: the colder winter weather seems to be a trigger,’ says Justyna Kamecka, practice owner/ manager and Clinical Director at Dental Beautique on Fulham Road.
‘We recommend a professional fluoride application at the practice, using a sensitive toothpaste and fluoride mouthwash and, one good tip, when you brush, make sure the paste sits on the teeth for a while – that helps to make them stronger.’
Justyna studied at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and completed a postgraduate programme at Oxford. Her philosophy is to provide luxury family care in every dental discipline; her team includes specialists in all fields and she has invested in cutting-edge equipment and created a spa-like environment – even the dental chairs have comfortable, cushioned memory foam.
‘That tranquil atmosphere is so important for nervous patients,’ says Justyna. ‘Whether it’s a routine filling or preventative hygiene, Invisalign teeth straightening or an emergency, we never forget that there’s a human being with the teeth! Also, if someone wants a more confident smile, we offer high quality aesthetic medicine treatments such as face-contouring with Juvederm dermal fillers, thread-lifts and mesotherapy.’ Justyna is also committed to providing her dental services at an affordable price.
‘We have launched a Patient Scheme,’ she explains. ‘For £24 per month, a patient will receive two dental examinations and two dental hygiene visits each year and 10% off any treatments required. Children under 12 go free if a parent is registered with us and, as a special Winter offer, we’re offering 20% off teeth whitening (until 31 December 2020).
