Naz Zeneldeen has re-designed his Fulham salon to include a new Blow Dry Bar
Since founding his successful hair salon on Wandsworth Bridge Road in 2013, Naz Zeneldeen has never rested on his laurels. Always looking for new ways to expand the range of services provided by his friendly, professional team, Naz acquired the next-door premises in 2016 and established an elegant Gentleman’s Grooming Club.
Now, following an ingenious re-modelling of the original salon, he has opened a Blow Dry Bar. It was a decision driven largely by customer demand. ‘The idea of friends having their hair washed, blow-dried and styled at the same time is becoming increasingly popular,’ explains Naz. ‘We’ve nearly doubled the space available – we now have 11 stations – and that means we can easily accommodate groups who want to come along for a Blow Dry. It’s a really enjoyable social occasion. We offer complementary drinks and, thanks to the Bonbon café, clients can also order snacks, breakfasts and lunches.’
Originally from Syria, Naz learned his trade in the family salon. His philosophy is simple. ‘We pride ourselves on precision cutting, colouring and styling (for both men and women) and we never forget that every new client is different. That’s why we take the time and trouble to get to know them. Then we can decide what approach to follow and, of course, we’re always happy to give advice and make suggestions. Our priority is that the customer leaves us completely satisfied with the experience.’
The Gentlemen’s Grooming and moustache trimming and a luxury hot towel shave. ‘We cleanse, exfoliate and treat the skin before shaving with a straight razor,’ says Naz. ‘Of course I’m biased, but I think it’s the best traditional shave in London. On Thursday evenings we’ll be offering whiskey cocktails to the gentlemen – our Senior Barber, Antonio, is a master mixologist – and serving champagne for the ladies on Thursday and Friday evenings.’
