Natasha Johnston, x+why’s Head of Engagement and Sales, has been showing me around the company’s recently opened Chiswick Works building, a 30,000 sq ft workspace on Bollo Lane that occupies the former site of London Buses’ industrial repair shop.

Chiswick Works has been custom-designed to reflect that ethos, hence the raw materials and stylish fixtures and fittings were sustainably sourced wherever possible, there is a major emphasis on natural light and greenery (more than one plant per person) and birdsong is even played in breakout areas.
‘Our aim is to assist businesses at every stage of their growth through multiple membership options,’ explains Natasha. ‘Among them, we have a day pass, four and ten-day per month passes and full 24/7 access. In addition, we offer Dedicated Desks with a lockable cabinet and our private offices range from four to 50 desks per company.
