Over the past few months Bright Horizons Parsons Green Day Nursery and Preschool has been transformed both inside and out. Now, just in time for Spring, all the structural work has been signed off and the smart “new” building is ready to be showcased at an Open Day on 9 May.
The event will be the perfect opportunity for parents to discover how the space has been re-imagined to the smallest detail. The result provides an environment in which children can thrive and one that reflects the Bright Horizons’ Nurture Approach of supporting each child’s emotional wellbeing and holistic development through immersive learning and personalised care from dedicated childcare practitioners.
At the heart of the re-design is The Avenue, a light-filled focal point with a cobblestone-effect floor that creates a natural flow between the indoors and outdoors. Other exciting additions include a baby garden where even the youngest learners can safely explore nature for the first time. Also, the expanded kitchen now features a viewing window that enables children to watch the chef at work, so sparking curiosity and conversations around food.
A newly installed large shade structure ensures year-round access to fresh air and soft artificial grass has transformed the outdoor space into an attractive, fun play area. What was once a standard playground is a sensory-rich green setting in which children are able to engage with nature all year round.
