‘I’m hands-on – I like to spend time with my team at each site every day. That’s why I focus on working locally in Hammersmith, Fulham, Shepherd’s Bush and Chiswick and never take too many jobs at one time. It’s also so important to build a personal relationship with clients and be available as a point of contact.’
Tani Paci is explaining his business philosophy, and the passion is clear. Tani was born into the building trade – his grandfather and father were skilled carpenters – and he has many years experience both in his native Albania and the UK. Now settled with his family in Brackenbury Village, he founded Tani Building Solutions four years ago and, since then, he and his friendly team have become a familiar sight around the area – they recently completed the rebuild and refurbishment of the new Horton and Garton estate agency offices on King Street.
The company covers the full spectrum of domestic and commercial building projects, including major structural work and interior renovation, loft conversions, kitchen and side return extensions and conservatories. ‘Whether the project is large or small, we have the expertise to take it from drawing board design to completed build on time and on budget,’ explains Tani.
‘I’m used to liaising with architects, structural engineers and party wall surveyors and I’m happy to project manage. Most importantly, I cost each job with the help of a quantity surveyor – that means that the budget is clear from the beginning. And if a surprise comes up – and I like to think I can anticipate most issues – I immediately make the client aware and suggest practical solutions.’
Tani uses his own tried and trusted professionals, including specialists in all the individual trades, and they follow all the Covid-19 health and safety guidelines. ‘We pay attention to detail and take pride in getting it right first time; that’s why so much of our business comes from word-of-mouth recommendation. My aim is to be the local builder that you can recommend to friends and neighbours.’
