Acton Pub: The Aeronaut

Welcome to a pubbing experience like no other. The Aeronaut pays tribute to the amazing discovery of flight with their airborne feats of cabaret and circus performers.

The interior satisfies the traditional Pub get-up with chunky woods and a grand bar. But, one thing Aeronaut boasts (bar the twirling and catapulting acrobats) is an onsite brewing company ran by Laines meaning you can get a real crafty pint straight from barrel to bar. You can practically smell the hops.

By day, Aeronaut comes complete with a sun trap beer garden framed by funky side booths (refuge for when the rain inevitably comes). Reviving the circus style aesthetic of the past, there’s coconut shy, hook-a-duck and strong man booths clad with the traditional striped colours and quirky circus font. Perfect for alfresco dining with a pint of ale and a plate of good hearty grub. By night, Aeronaut becomes something else entirely. The pub becomes an arena. Spot lights beam down, the stage comes out and the performers parade around (hula-hoops in tow) and the mighty disco ball descends. Their crew of aerial acrobats and glamorous gymnasts perform balancing acts, spinning sensations and circus show classics.
