Brackenbury Residents Association

Brackenbury Residents Association represents an incredibly vibrant community of local residents and their families who seek to make Brackenbury a better place for the future by working to maintain and improve the quality of life for us all. Founded in 1999, the Brackenbury Residents Association is the local association for the Brackenbury area in Hammersmith, London W6 – the streets between Glenthorne Road, Paddenswick/Dalling Roads, Goldhawk Road and west of the Hammersmith and City line.

We do this by looking after the interests of our community in local planning & development, traffic and parking, maintenance of trees and shrubs, communal facilities, tackling litter and nuisance, supporting local businesses, and in the general improvement of the Brackenbury area. We have good relationships with our local councillors so we can have a significant voice on any issues affecting us.

As well as providing members with information, we’d also like you to inform us about things which affect you by sharing your views and experiences with our members via the members forum.

MEMBERSHIP

HOW DO I BENEFIT?
As a member you will have an enhanced opportunity to communicate your ideas for improvements to the area and to influence the decision-makers. As an Association, we will be better able to put over your concerns and suggestions collectively.

The fact that we have regular dealings with the Council and your Councillors means that we have more influence on Council policy and action. By supporting the Association you help to preserve and improve the place where you live. You will receive the Association’s newsletter, giving you up-to-date information on its work and activities in the area and the Council’s plans.

Members are encouraged to offer news, events and views for the website.

If working for the community appeals to you, let the Committee know – all offers to assist the work of the association, as your time and interests allow, are greatly appreciated.
