Little Black Book: The Matchmaker

Little Black Book: The Matchmaker

Are you ready to find the perfect partner?

Before I became a professional matchmaker, I loved setting up my friends and, for that matter, any singIe person I met,’ smiles Chiswick resident Kate Wray. ‘I’d go through my internal rolodex looking for matches. People used to say that I should do it for a living; in fact, I was already planning just that!’

Kate is the founder of Little Black Book, winner at the UK Dating Awards 2017. She and her experienced team provide a personalised service that is the antithesis of online dating. ‘We always meet clients face-to-face for a coffee and a good chat,’ explains Kate. ‘We get to know them and discover what they’re looking for in a partner. That also means there’s no question of adding a few inches in height or using old photographs. We then compile a detailed profile and delve into our Little Black Book for the best match.’

One of the packages offered by Little Black Book includes personal styling and coaching for people who really want a fresh start. Kate is always available to clients and open about whether she can help. ‘Our members are busy London professionals,’ she says. ‘What they have in common is that they’re looking for a long-term committed relationship.’

About Editor

Online editor at Keep Things Local

The company publishes four flagship magazines (Chelsea Locals, Chiswick Locals, Richmond Locals and Hammersmith Locals) with more launches planned in London and across the UK. The prime focus of each of these quarterly magazines is to showcase and support the independent traders and small businesses who do so much to give these areas their individual retail character and community spirit. This is achieved through dedicated advertorials which are written, designed and photographed by an experienced team lead by Neil McKelvie.

In every issue, these advertorials are complemented by feature articles which turn the spotlight on different aspects of neighbourhood life and interviews with notable local figures. In addition to appearing in the magazines, every advertorial is also published in the Keep Things Local newsletters, on the website and on social media. Get in touch to be featured in our Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring issues.
