Support Your Local Community Centre: Volunteers are Shopping For The Vulnerable And Delivering Two-course Meals

Although the Grove Neighbourhood Centre is temporarily closed and staff furloughed, volunteers continue to work behind closed doors, keeping in touch and supporting the elderly and disadvantaged households in the community.

We are shopping for the most vulnerable who are self-isolating, as well as cooking and delivering a two-course meal for 40 people each Friday.

We are now at full capacity providing shopping and meals. However, if you are in urgent need of help, please do not hesitate to contact the Centre on 0208 741 3321. We will do what we can to assist even if it means finding you another organisation that has larger facilities and personnel.

Due to the Coronavirus and the enforced Lockdown, we have had to suspend the hiring of the halls and rooms. This means our main source of income has ceased. The Centre is pursuing every avenue of financial support that the Government and other funders are offering, but this takes time and the Centre is uncertain when these funds will become available, if at all.

Therefore, we are asking you to consider making a monetary donation to the GNC, by accessing our website www.groveneighbours.org.uk and clicking on Donation at top right. You will be taken to our page on the Give as you Live website. Or you can send a cheque made payable to Grove Neighbourhood Centre and post or deliver to 7 Bradmore Park Road, London W6 0DT. Please include your contact details including email and telephone number and whether you are able to add Gift Aid so we can send a form to complete.

Your donation, however small, will help us to carry on the important work and services we provide and ensure the GNC continues to survive at the heart of the Brackenbury Village and Hammersmith community.

From all of us at the Grove Neighbourhood Centre we thank you for your continued support.
