‘I like to call myself a “one-stop-shop” for bespoke software, web and graphic design,’ he explains. ‘I can take care of the time-consuming hassle associated with running a business in the digital age, as well as creating promotional material that gets results. For my clients, this means having one point of contact with the knowledge to handle multiple issues.’
Prior to founding J4G Design, Chris worked as a technical consultant, designing and implementing software for organisations such as the Home Office and NHS Scotland. Over the last seven years, he has built a wide client base, working with individuals and small companies across many commercial sectors.
‘There’s often a strong cross-over between website and graphic design projects, and I enjoy the variety,’ he says. ‘Whatever the scope of the job, I always spend time with every new client in order to get a precise understanding of their objectives, and then I’m happy to work remotely or on site. ‘It might be a complete re-design, updating a site to be mobile-friendly or ensuring that traffic is being monitored. When it comes to websites, I believe that function is critical. The “look” of a site is, of course, very important, but there are many more vital components.
‘With my extensive experience, I will find the best option for every business and do it in a set timeframe and within budget. And I’m always happy to chat and answer questions if someone just wants to get in touch about a problem that they are having.’
