Prior to founding J4G Design, Chris worked as a design and technical consultant, building software for organisations such as the Home Office, NHS Scotland and Gloji. Over the last seven years, he has established a wide client base, completing projects of all sizes for individuals and small companies across many commercial sectors.
‘Many clients ask me to monitor their websites on a regular basis, allowingthem to focus on what matters rather than stopping to “figure things out,” explains Chris. ‘That’s particularly true of WordPress and Squarespace sites. And often there’s a strong cross-over between my web and design work – I enjoy that variety.’
Whatever the job, Chris spends time with every client in order to understand their objectives, and then is always available to answer questions and advise.
‘With websites, while the “look” is very important, I believe that function is critical,’ he says. ‘I will devise and implement the most effective time and money-saving options for each business, and do it within budget. And clients can be confident that they have one point of contact with the knowledge to handle multiple digital and design issues.’
