Track and understand key health indicators and live better for longer
‘Most people only think of us in relation to Covid testing,’ says Madie Ager-Warner, Manager of Randox Health’s new Fulham Clinic. ’In fact, this year we’re celebrating our 40-year anniversary, and, in that time, we have worked with health care organisations worldwide.’
Having played a pivotal role in the UK’s National Testing Programme, the company is opening a network of clinics like the one in Fulham. ‘Having gone through the pandemic, I think we’ve all become used to taking more responsibility for our health,’ explains Madie. ‘By providing extensive testing options, both at the clinic and for home use, our aim is to help everyone be pro-active about their wellbeing.
‘Our Heath Checks are based on taking a blood test and analysing the wealth of data produced. For example, the popular 12-month EveryMan EveryWoman service measures up to 150 data points linked to major health indicators. Every client then receives a personal report and is invited to a consultation with a scientist, who gives an informed breakdown of the results (GP appointments are available). Most importantly, the client has a repeat blood test six months later, so any problem can be monitored.’
Randox Health also offers packages that focus on specific issues, for example, digestive, hormonal and nutritional health, and it has recently launched two new programmes, Everyathlete and the Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) test.
The former covers over 80 data points associated with muscle, joint and bone health and is designed for both casual gym-goers and fitness fanatics who want to optimise training and performance. The AMH test measures a woman’s ovarian reserve (the number of follicles in the ovaries capable of producing an egg) and reports if the level is normal for their age.
‘We’re delighted to be in Fulham and we want to build long-term relationships with our clients,’ says Madie. ‘To find out how we can help you live a longer, healthier life, come in and see us.’
